Other Postmasters
If you are the postmaster for an ISP which is having difficulty sending email to servers hosted on our system, or if you are a postmaster looking for information regarding our system outbound mail policy, you have reached the correct page.
Inbound PolicyMake sure that you are not listed on our RBL. Submit a removal request from that page if you find one or more of your IP's listed on it. Inbound policy is subject to change to adapt to changing inbound spam properties. Current policy includes:
- Your connecting IP must reverse resolve in DNS.
- Your system must HELO or EHLO a fully qualified domain name that resolves.
- The spam score of your email can be affected by the presence of the connecting IP in various RBL's.
- Connections from hostnames that indicate dynamic IP allocation can be deferred or rejected.
The Ivenue system consists of two separate systems; an older webmail/pop/imap/smtp system (called 3.0) and a newer webmail/pop/imap/smtp system (called 4.0). The mail will be sourced from different IP's, depending upon the origination of the email. The following table details those source IP's and their function/content.
